Felix and Sonny:
What to do on a rainy Monday?
Dump over Mom’s sweatshirt pile and take a nap.
The pretty bush in the front has bloomed.
It is a bittersweet spring here at the warren…
On Monday Mom had to help Howard to the Rainbow Bridge. He was her first barker, a loyal friend-to-the-end, and her heart is broke.
Thank you so much Fur & Purr friends and your humans, for your kind words and support, we know you understand, and we love you all!
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wonderous image then of a place that’s trouble free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful — lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort, as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I’m all right
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
‘Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we’re never far apart,
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.

Hello Fur Friends! I hope you all had a furry good weekend.
Our old Howard barker hasn’t been well, he is 15 and 1/2 years old in human years and he is getting ready to leave us for the rainbow bridge. This is making Mom furry, furry sad. I am trying to be a good bun, even helping her with the laundry!
Hi Fur Friends! I hope efurryone enjoyed their weekend. My dutchie pal Archi Ann tagged me for a meme.
Here are the rules:
1. Pick up the nearest book.
2. Open to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
The book I am currently chewing is an old phone book so lets see what Mom is reading:
The Re-Enchantment of Everyday Life by Thomas Moore.
We would have to have a radical change of attitude to move closer
to the Tibetan and Hopi ways of spiritualizing politics, but if we do
not think too literally about such things, there may be ways to
consonant with what we consider intelligent and practical to
re-enchant politics along these lines.
Oh, and Mom says this is a furry good book!
We are finally having some nice spring weather here at the warren.
Its a Bunny Bristle just like they have over at House of Rabbits!!
And she had to have these birdies, too.
The best part is she got a Dill plant for me to try, and a catnip plant for Felix!
Get planting, Mom!
